ABOUT US
Where education, care and play go hand in hand
Our Commitment
At Hola Sunshines, we aim to provide a caring, safe and stimulating environment for children 12 months to 12 years. Our mission is to promote emotional, social, physical and cognitive development while providing an encouraging educational experience, all while being immersed in the Spanish language. We strive to give parents a complete peace of mind by being committed to the families we serve.
Meet the Team
Josefina comes to Hola Sunshines with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work she received back in her home country of Ecuador. This is a profession she has thrived in for the last 30+ years. Being a social worker has allowed her to work with children and their families countless times, more recently with the OCDC program at Washington County.
Anyone that knows Josefina knows she is an encyclopedia of knowledge and information when it comes to little minds and their development. Her idea of having this safe space for children was born out of the need to spread that knowledge and put it to use with the little minds of tomorrow. Thus, Hola Sunshines was born!
Carla’s mission is to raise kind humans. Having two little ones of her own, she understands what is needed for a childcare space, to be more than just a place where children are supervised.
For this same reason, she left her Dental Hygienist profession to care for her children since her search to find a nurturing place where her kids were more than just a number was unsuccessful. She brings her love for children and the aim of making Hola Sunshines a shining example of what a quality child care home should be
